RYAN HERMA
is a Producer and Composer based out of Chicagoland.
Ryan has performed in original bands, produced recordings for independent artists, and created custom compositions for commercials, TV, and other media. Other endeavors include the production of live concert DVDs and albums, music videos, and project management for recording studios.
Through his experience in multiple roles, Ryan has curated a methodical approach to the creative process that continues to yield positive results for his clients and their storytelling.

COMPOSITION
Ryan has over 18 years of deep focus involving songwriting and composing. Such experience involves productions for original bands, singer/songwriters, and composition for picture and media. From his first instrument of trombone, Ryan moved on to learn guitar and piano. Drum and synthesizer programing is another affinity. Some of Ryan’s most current songwriting projects were produced for Warner Chappell. Examples can heard on the Music page. Other roles Ryan has held include that of music editor, orchestrator, and string arranger.
Recent compositions for picture included original music for the Wilson Clash promotion and the track Darkness featured on The Expanse television series.
PRODUCTION
With over 15 years experience in music production, Ryan has held roles such as Recording Engineer, Live Sound Engineer, Live Recording Engineer, Music Editor, Producer, Mixer, Dialog Editor, ADR Engineer, and Re-Recording Mixer. Clients include artists such John Berry, Bryan Lubeck, and Todd Kessler; as well as partner brands such as Universal Audio, Guitar Center Professional, Audi, and Wilson, among others.
In late 2020, Ryan began test developing Sample Instruments. Now available for the Kontakt platform are two instruments which you can download free of charge on the Sample Instruments page.
